Mcallen Kids Marathon Event is Cancelled due to weather. Please see flyer. Thank you.

Come one, come all to our first performance of the year! 🙌🏽🥳 PreK 4 students will perform dressed in fall colors. See you soon! 💕

Yeeeehaw mighty eagles! Here is our first attendance challenge of the year! Be here everyday from September 29th-October 8th to be able to partake in a moon jump and raspa! We'll chill out once you reach your attendance goal! (No early pick-ups or late arrivals!) 🍧😊 #EscandonEagles #AttendanceChallenge

Mighty Eagles we have some work to do! Our attendance fell short of our expectations today. Remember if we are not at school, we are missing out on valuable instruction. 😢 It adds up quick! Congrats to 1st, 2nd and 5th grade on reaching the goal today! Let's make tomorrow better than today. We've got this! 🙌🏽💕

#DeafWorld is always such a beautiful event! This year's theme was "Awareness in Technicolor". It is an immersive experience where people can learn about deaf culture, sign language, deaf education, careers and resources. People travel from across the state to attend this special event. 🧏🏽‍♂️🌎🦅

🎶 Working 9 to 5, Eagle style! 🦅💙💛 We celebrated Dolly Parton Day on 9/25 with our Escandon Eagles shirts, jeans, and boots! A little country spirit made the school day even brighter. 🤠✨ #EscandonEagles #DollyPartonDay #TogetherWeSoar

We want your child to have a Lanyard and Collectible! It is as easy as selling at least one popcorn item.

How the Collectibles Work:
First sale: Students receive one lanyard and their first Coop collectible.
Additional sales: Students earn one additional collectible for every two items sold.

Students should turn in their coupons as they make sales.
Teachers do not need to verify the sales.

Coupons may be turned in in any order; the important thing is that students turn them in daily. Happy collecting everyone!

💙💛 **ATTENDANCE MATTERS!** 💛💙

🎉 **A special shoutout to our Early Education Eagles!** 🦅✨ Our EE students achieved an incredible **100% attendance**! Way to show us what it means to **show up, learn, and SOAR!** We are so proud of our youngest Eagles and their families! 👏💙💛

We also want to encourage all of our Eagle families to keep working toward stronger attendance. **Every day at school is an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.** If your child’s attendance is an area for growth, let’s work together to make each day count! 📚✨

**Our goal is progress, one school day at a time.** Together, we can help every Eagle build strong attendance habits and reach new heights! 🦅

💙 **Keep showing up, Eagles! Every day counts!** 💛

Happy Birthday Mrs. Pena! We hope you have a magical day!

It was another great day of learning at Escandon today! This is how we did in attendance. Congrats to 3rd, 4th, 5th grade, and EE for reaching their attendance goal! We are beyond proud! We missed a lot of our PreK, Kinder, and 1st grade students today. 😔 Remember that every minute we are not at school, we are losing out on learning opportunities! We look forward to closing off the week strong tomorrow! Let's wrap it up mighty Eagles 🦅.

Our first graders are growing their math skills through hands-on learning💙

Our fall popcorn fundraiser kicked off today! Our students attended the presentation today and left home with their order kit with everything they need to sell. 2 of our students even left with some cold hard cash! Our fundraiser will run for 2 weeks. We look forward to our students joining for the big bash! 😎🥳💃🏽🪩

When someone says that it takes a village, it truly does. We are so fortunate to have the best village! Our campus was blessed with 50 blessing bags for our students. Thank you so much to @blessingbagsrgv for their continued support. Our students saw a sneak peak of the items and they were already so excited. Special shoutout to our amazing social worker, Mr. Nick Gonzalez, for always having a heart to serve and being a beacon of support for our students. We appreciate you!

Congratulations to the Mathletes for this week: Alexa Garcia, Kamila Buendia and Tadeo Arron. You are up to amazing things and we love to see it! Job well done mighty Eagles!

Our little scientists had so much fun exploring the power of magnets! Students designed their own racetracks and cars, made predictions, and then used magnets to move their cars along the track without touching them! 🤩
Learning science is even more exciting when we get to experiment and have fun! 🏎️🏁

Learning never looked so good! Our Kinder students are using a hands on approach to literacy! We are so proud of all the hard work that is being done in our classrooms. #TogetherWeSoar #ClosingGaps #EaglePride
